Eyes were on the sky – hopefully wearing the proper protection – Monday afternoon as Middle Georgians stepped outside to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse. Though the midstate was not in the eclipse’s “path of totality,” the partial eclipse was still a rare sight to see, as folks shared special viewing glasses and one Dublin student snuck a peek from the school bus.
