Kroger unveils $2.5 million investment in Dublin store with grand celebration

Kroger hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday in celebration of its $2.49 million capital investment in the Dublin Village store.
“This is not just a capital investment, it’s a community investment,” said Tammie Young-Ennaemba, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “We recognize Kroger’s unique role in the communities we serve and are committed to creating positive change and delivering on our purpose to feed the human spirit.”
The Dublin Village Kroger has undergone extensive renovations, featuring new décor, a new floral department, updated bakery tables, modern dairy cases, as well as revamped meat and seafood departments. Additionally, the store now boasts new kitchen fixtures, a pharmacy consultation room, upgraded check lanes and a new customer service counter.
“We are looking forward to the ribbon cutting celebration as we welcome our local officials and community partners,” Young-Ennaemba said. “As an employer, food processor, retailer, healthcare provider and more, we recognize the importance of continued investments in the communities we serve.”
