Amiria Thomas crowned Miss Black Dublin Queen
Amiria Thomas was crowned queen of the 11th Miss Black Dublin Scholarship Pageant June 8 at the Dublin High School Auditorium.

The Miss Black Dublin Scholarship Pageant crowned Amiria Thomas as 2024 Miss Black Dublin Queen on Saturday night.
The 11th Miss Black Dublin Scholarship Pageant Program was held June 8 in the Dublin High School Auditorium.
Thomas is a 16-year-old rising senior at Dublin High School and the daughter of Catina and Jeff Puckett and Deshawn Thomas.
Her award accomplishments for the themed “Beauty With A Purpose: The Revival of the Renaissance” Pageant included: The Director’s Award, Mrs. Mamye Thomasenor (Tommie) Pearson Heritage Award and the Raven S. Williams Most Talented Award.

Joining her on the queen’s court were first runner-up Paris White, a 2024 honor graduate of Dublin High School, the daughter of Andrea and Pritchard White. Her awards included the Melba Bates Baker Citizenship Award and the Women on the Move Academic Award $1,000 award.
The second runner-up was Ja’Mya Tinsley, a 16-year-old rising junior at Dublin High School. Tinsley is the daughter of Kierra and Dolphus Wells and Phillip Tinsley. She won the Photogenic Award. Third runner-up was Zamorianna O’Neal, a 16-year-old rising sophomore at West Laurens High School. She is the daughter of Latha O’Neal and Maurice O’Neal.
Fourth runner-up was Talisha Rozier, who was awarded The Director’s Award, the People’s Choice Award and The Elysea Howard Stuckey Miss Congeniality Award.
