The Trinity Crusaders traveled to Sandersville on Friday to complete their region series with Brentwood. The score was close for much more of the game, but Trinity used a big sixth inning to pull away for the 8-1 win to run its win streak to nine straight.

The Crusaders took the lead in the top of the second when Nathan Sumner singled, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Tripp Mascaro to make it 1-0.

The lead was short-lived as Brentwood would knot the score in the bottom of the frame. J.W. Hitchcock would double and then score on a hit by Cooper Smith to tie the score at 1-1.
