Stanley – who is the team captain – received a call from the game show wanting to see if they were interested in returning to “Family Feud,” which is hosted by Steve Harvey.

“I was thankful,” she said. “I surprised my sisters and told them we have a second chance. Some laughed, some were excited and screamed, and some tears rolled down. Even though we had a good time the first time we went, we had just lost our brother. But going on ‘Family Feud’ was just a blessing.”

The sisters returned to the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta for the taping in February. Harvey remembered the Stanleys.

“That was so great,” Stanley said. “We knew a little bit of what to expect, but we still went with the mindset like we didn’t know anything. We didn’t want to be prideful and thinking that we knew it all.”

Stanley injured her arm before the most recent taping.

“I couldn’t lift my arm and was having extreme muscle spasms,” Stanley said. “We jumped on that, and I went to the doctors so that I would be able to at least lift my arm. Since I was the team captain, so I had to be able to lift my arm and be excited. God graced me, touched me and we were able to do the show very smoothly, and I didn’t experience that level of pain that I had.”

Stanley, who could not talk about the results on “Family Feud,” was happy that they were able to represent God, hometown and family.

“We want to encourage people to soar and do whatever their hearts desire and they are able to obtain it,” Stanley said. “I pray that our light shined and people saw (Christ) in us. There were a lot of other fellow believers there on the other teams. The staff and the entire production company is amazing and we are grateful to God for that.”
