PICKLEBALL: Dublin Pickleball Association players medal in 10 events at Macon’s ‘Pinkest Pickleball Party’

Twenty members of the Dublin PIckleball Association competed, and helped win medals in 10 events, at the Pinkest Pickleball Party on the Planet last weekend in Macon.

To celebrate the Macon Cherry Blossom Festival, 20 members of the Dublin Pickleball Association (DPA) were amongst 543 players competing in the 2025 Pinkest Pickleball Party on the Planet.

Southern Pickleball and the Macon Pickleball Club hosted the tournament at the Tattnall Pickleball Center in Macon. The event was presented by Central Georgia Cancer Care Center. 

DPA players won medals in 10 events. Winners are as follows: 

GOLD

Shelley Baumann (Rockledge) Women’s Singles, skill group 3.5 / age 50-59

Lindsay Shuman (Dublin) and Sandy Souza (Dublin) Women’s Doubles 3.0/16+/35+ combined

Rose Cannon (Dublin) and Paula Baker (Dublin) Women’s Doubles 2.5/50-59

SILVER

Eva Martin (East Dublin) and Justine Still (Grayson) – Women’s Doubles 4.5+/60-69

Dawn Howerton (East Dublin) and Berry Newberry (Eatonton) – Women’s Doubles   3.5/60-69

Kim Thompson (Dublin) and Wendi Brantly (Dublin) – Women’s Doubles 2.5/50-59

Phil Parker (Dublin) and Darren Spivey (Milledgeville) – Men’s Doubles 3.5/50+

Eva Martin (East Dublin) and Joe McDaniel (Macon) – Mixed Doubles 4.0/70+

Sandy Souza (Dublin) and Jason Williams (Byron) – Mixed Doubles 3.0/50+

BRONZE

Dianne Harrison (Dublin) and Jada Stroud (Macon) – Women’s Doubles 3.5/35-49

Susan Curtis (Milledgeville) and Laura Carter (Sandersville) – Women’s Doubles 3.0/60-69.
