1 man injured in shooting on West Mary Street

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation began its investigation into a shooting that happened on West Mary Street/PAYTON TOWNS III

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating an overnight  shooting that sent a man to the hospital.

Dublin Police Chief Keith Moon confirmed there was one victim, who is about 18 years old, who was injured during the shooting that occurred around the 500 block of West Mary.

Yellow crime tape was put around apartment buildings. Crime scene placards were also visible down a sidewalk in the middle of the apartments and at least one near the tire of a vehicle parked on the side of the street. 

GBI agents and DPD officers were on the scene collecting evidence.
